“WHAT MAKES UP AN ACORN VILLAGE??”

Centres are made up of 2 - 5 villages per centre plus a separate Staff Village, exclusively for the use of centre staff. An Acorn village will usually consist of 16 tents set in a horseshoe shape with a large fully equipped marquee as the central focal point. Each marquee is for the exclusive use of the group resident on the village and is used as a dining hall, meeting area and a venue for many of our evening entertainments. At each centre, the Acorn Staff Village is situated adjacent to the groups’ villages, making a communal social area; out of bounds to guests.
