Assistant Manager

Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, the Assistant Manager will provide ongoing support to the Centre Manager on a day-to-day basis. The successful applicant will be expected to help in overseeing the Catering, Activity, Administration, Groups and Equipment Managers. You will take responsibility for the general running of the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and take a pro-active role within all aspects of centre life.

Activity Manager

You must hold at least one of the following:
RYA Senior Instructor
BCU Level 3 Coach
MLTB Assessed

Responsible for all instructional staff, you will be the role model by which others set their standards. You will take the lead role in training, monitoring, organising and co-ordinating the instructional team, ensuring the delivery of fun packed and safe activity programmes. You will be an effective motivator, able to deliver training and instruction to a high standard, encouraging the development of your staff team. Assistant Activity Manager

Responsible to the Activity Manager, you will be a role model by which others set their standards. You will take a lead role in training, monitoring, organising and co-ordinating the instructional team, ensuring the safe delivery of the activity programme. You will be an effective motivator, able to deliver training and instruction to a high standard and encourage the development of the instructor staff team. Catering Manager

Experienced / Qualified Chefs

Reporting to the Centre Manager you will be an organised, professional individual, responsible for the management of the hygiene systems and the catering operation at one of our centres. You will be training the catering team and ensuring the delivery of appetising, wholesome meals for guests and staff. You will have knowledge and experience of meal planning, ordering, stock control, cooking and budgeting. Full training in our range of catering systems will be given at the commencement of our season to ensure our service standards.

Administration
Manager

Experienced Office Administrator

Responsible for the administration systems, the centre shop, personnel records and financial reporting systems, administration managers report to the Centre Manager and liaise closely with the centre staff and managers. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of office-based skills, experience with a variety of computer applications and a methodical and organised approach to office administration. We are looking for candidates with a background in current office computer application packages, who are fluent with email and have excellent attention to detail. This position requires you to be self-motivated and able to communicate information accurately and effectively to staff, centre departments and Head Office.

Equipment and
Maintenance Manager

Full Driving Licence and Experience of Logistics / Maintenance

Employed at our larger centres to co-ordinate the maintenance of equipment, you will be required to implement routine checks and repairs to the camping infrastructure, activities and sport equipment, organise repairs to vehicles and some longer term projects. You will take a leading role in the Montage and De-montage of your centre, keeping an accurate equipment log and centre inventory. The work is physically demanding and you will have to possess a variety of practical and organisational skills, keeping records and taking pride in setting high standards of work. You will need a full driving licence and a methodical approach to problem solving, an elastic mind to deal with constantly changing demands as well as a friendly, outgoing people orientated nature.
