Nestling in the heart of the Aosta Valley under the shadow of Mont Blanc is one of the best-kept secrets of the Alps - Acorn’s exclusive Alpine Adventure Centre. Groups and staff enjoy a number of water and mountain sports including the exhilarating White Water Rafting with progressively more challenging runs on the Dora Baltea River. The small village of Villeneuve is both Italian and French speaking, offering cafes and a sports complex housing an awesome artificial climbing tower. The centre offers the usual toilet, shower and washing machine facilities. Locally, there are several festivals during the season and stages of the FIA Rally are held within the local mountains. Within 5 minutes there is some fantastic climbing and bouldering as well as the Grade 3+4 Alpine river that borders the campsite, with a serious play-wave 10 minutes away for the budding and brave kayakers.
