| On the shores of a picturesque Etang (Lagoon), and within a 5-minute walk to the Mediterranean Sea, Narbonne offers a full range of water-based activities from Sailing, Windsurfing and Kayaking to Banana Boating and Catamaran Sailing. The whole coastal region is renowned for its world-class windsurfing and hosts local competitions on a nearby Etang. There are large and well- equipped toilet and shower blocks, a campsite shop and bar, telephones and after a ten minute walk up the Etang, there are local bars, restaurants and shops. The nearest large town, Narbonne Plage, is a 30 minute walk up the beach and has many good shops, cafes and bars - an ideal spot for an evening with friends. Within a short drive south of the centre you will find Gruissan, a large bustling town with many shops, bars and cafes.
