Group Cooking Experience Desirable

Working with the Catering Manager you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of a variety of appetising and wholesome meals for our guests and staff. You will assist in the organisation, motivation and training of a team of Catering Suppoters to ensure that 100 - 300 covers are served each day, hygiene systems are adhered to and will assist in the stock control process. You will be a vibrant and positive example to the catering team, promoting good working practices and an enjoyable atmosphere of teamwork.

This role is ideal for people wanting to work in an interesting and vibrant setting, who are looking for catering experience and who want to gain skills whilst working within a unique outdoor centre. Working as part of the catering team you will assist with food preparation, the serving of food, ensuring that hygiene standards are maintained. You may also be required to assist the village manager in keeping the marquee clean and presentable as well as cleaning the centre facilities. Although this is not an activity- based role, you will have contact with groups at meal times, on and around the centre.
